5 Free Keyword Finders For Beginning Internet Marketers
Keyword research is the key to making money online. The proper keyword research can be the difference in getting over 1000 targeted hits a day to your website or getting 10. The proper keyword can also increase your conversion rates. And remember, without conversions, all the traffic in the World won’t matter.
A beginning Internet Marketer can save their self quite a bit of money by using one of the many free keyword tools available to them. Some of the paid versions can cost you fifty bucks or month or more. Others have a one time fee of several hundred dollars. Lucky for us frugal marketers, the free versions are good choices for finding those money making niches.
Here are 5 of the best keyword research tools I’ve found.
One tool you’ll want to learn how to use is Google’s keyword tool. This free keyword tool will show you the approximate number of searches in the past month and the avereage number of searches per month over the last year. You can also see the approximate per click rate advertisers are paying for your keyword.
SEO Book has a great keyword research tool that I use. In fact, out of these 5 tools, it’s probably the best out there. This tool will show you many variables on each keyword. For example, it will show you the estimated clicks per day from all the major search engines, the Compete Rank, Google Trends and many more. You can really drill down to find those profitable keywords with this tool.
The next keyword tool has been around a long time. It’s been a favorite of many marketers. A lot of them go on to buy the full version, but for the beginner, the free version is powerful enough. It’s called WordTracker. WordTracker’s free version allows users to sort and drill down through long tail keywords in order to find ones that will be profitable.
Another free software program you’ll want to try is Good Keywords. This is a free program you download to your laptop or desktop. It has several powerful features. One of them is the ability to search for misspellings. Internet Marketers who use Pay Per Click programs to make money online have been using misspellings in their ad campaigns for a long time to bring in the big money.
WordPot is yet another free keyword research tool you’ll want to look at. This is a web based program that helps people find keywords. It has several valuable features such as the ability to see synonyms, related words to the keyword you’re using and even associated words that relate to the keyword you using. Some alternate keywords can bring in as much, if not more, traffic than the main keyword.
Learn how to use these free keyword research tools and you’ll soon see the value of good keyword research. A list of highly targeted keywords is like diamonds in a diamond mine. They’re just sitting there waiting to be found by a smart person. The sooner you get started, the sooner you can discover these gems and start making money online.
