Iowa’s Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt!
The weather is slowly getting warmer. Snow fall is finally reducing to a halt and more and more people are shedding off their winter jackets as trees and shrubs begin to show little signs of flowers and leaves. Yes, spring time is fast approaching and its almost here! Spring means colorful flowering trees and the smell of fragrant flowers that fill the air. Spring means the warmth and more days spent outdoors after months of confinement in heated homes. Spring means the dawn of a new season filled with much activities and laughter. Yes, it is finally here.
America is one of the countries which as we commonly know posses four seasons that are truly something to watch out for. Spring is a time that triggers a start of town festivals with fairs. During spring people will be more seen in the outdoors and join nature in welcoming the new life around, with sign of fragrances and colors.
In Ames, Iowa there is an event called Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt. Adults and children are encouraged to gather in this fun event where they are entitled to exciting activities. Children can participate in finding the magic blue egg at the Easter egg hunt. They can also participate in the face painting sessions, hands-on baking lessons and pin the tail in the pony fun activities.
Adults are entertained by the Festivals live band and dance acts. Highlight of the festival includes the homemade crafts done by locals of the area. These crafts are mostly homemade soaps, detergents, candles, toys, etc. Crafters from the Spring Fling Festival gather to showcase their stuffs to buyers and participants. This is an event where buyers and sellers meet and greet in one roof.
The Spring Fling Festival is indeed a celebration perfect for the whole family. It is a family affair that will keep all members busy.
